Hi I’d like to introduce myself…

Nicola Hamilton | Professional Permanent Makeup

Hi, my name is NicoIa Hamilton and I decided to become a permanent makeup artist because I already had an interest in the human body.

I previously worked as a massage therapist, qualified in 5 types of massage therapy.  I fully understood the benefits of massage and liked how energised and revitalised it made my clients feel.  In making clients feel good on the inside, I wanted to bring this feel good feeling to the outside.

I trained with The Permanent Makeup Training Academy and received one to one training with Head Trainer, Katy Jobbins.  She has over 10 years experience in the industry, so it only seemed right to train with someone with lots of knowledge and expertise, so that I could be the best artist that I could be.

How I Can Guarantee You’ll Enjoy The Total Experience

I am currently offering my Permanent Makeup Clients a complimentary massage prior to treatment so that you feel nice and relaxed during the treatment and walk out the door both feeling good on the inside and looking great on the outside.
I love working with all age ranges and for whatever reason you are choosing to have permanent makeup my main aim is to customise everything to your own individual needs …

If you would like more information on the treatments I offer or you would like to book a FREE consultation with me then please contact me on tel: 07535 016824

Here’s a little about my training and experience in the industry…

I trained 1 to 1 with Katy Jobbins, founder of The Permanent Makeup Training Academy, who is an expert in her field, winning multiple awards.

I found Katy inspirational, with her down to earth approach in training, and I found it important for me to get on with someone who was open and friendly with a high level of skill. I felt that training with someone like Katy, would give me the confidence and ability that I needed, in order to make my permanent makeup career a success.

I use science and art together, as it’s more than just drawing on someone’s face and then tattooing it. Permanent makeup is forever changing, there are always new colours, techniques and machines continually advancing, and this is why it is important for me to continue my professional development.

Here is a brief summary of the knowledge I have, to be able to carry out effective treatments:

Consultation with Nicola Hamilton

Having a Consultation ….

A consultation is carried out, to see if permanent makeup is right for you.  Your are free to ask any questions about the concerns you have and for you to explain what it is you would like me to do. We can look through pictures so that it gives me a better idea in what you are looking for. It also gives you the chance to find out if I’m the right technician for you.

Having a Patch Test ….

A patch test needs to be carried out at least 12 hours prior to your treatment. I will do this in a small area behind your ear, or on your arm. It takes only a couple of minutes to do.

Loving Your New Look …

So that you can be totally in love with your new look, I always make sure that you are happy with everything before we go ahead with tattooing, and that we’ve agreed on the shape of your new brows and lips.

I will identify your new shape by drawing it on your face first with a makeup pencil.  This then allows you to see what your new permanent makeup will look like. The correct pigment for you, is obtained by taking into account your skin tone and hair colour. After agreeing on the shape, I will mix pigments accordingly.

Please bear in mind, that nobody has complete facial symmetry, but I will do my best to ensure that your new brows will look as symmetrical as possible.  It takes a certain amount of creativity and skill, to be a good permanent makeup technician, so it’s important that you feel completely confident in me.

Please see my portfolio page of past clients and read their testimonials on this website, or on my facebook page.

All the pigments I use are medical grade and from the leading suppliers to the medical profession worldwide. All my pigments are hypoallergenic and also designed for concealing imperfections on burns, scars, cancer, vitiligo, and cleft pallet patients.
