Help for Women with Cancer Regain Their Self Esteem
Cancer is on the Rise!
I was shocked to find that at the time of writing this (2015), that cancer is on the increase in the UK. It is reported that one thousand people every day, will find out they have this awful disease by the end of 2016.
Unfortunately, some of the cancer treatments that are available in the UK, can cause your hair to fall out. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are treatments that we are all used to hearing. Radiotherapy can be used externally , with the use of a machine that transmits beams to the affected area and internally, by swallowing a liquid or having it injected. Chemotherapy is administered through injecting liquid into the bloodstream or via a drip, or it can be taken in capsule and tablet form. There are also other treatments too, depending on the type of cancer, such as biology therapy and hormonal therapy. Click her for more information on treatments.
Super Foods that May Help
Some scientists are of the opinion that certain foods should be eaten to help fight cancer, instead of taking conventional medicine. These include raw fruits and vegetables, tomatoes, green tea, grapes and turmeric. However you should always seek the advice from your doctor. Researchers at Cancer Research UK continue to determine the fact from fiction.
